About this space
The accommodation is roomy, well lit and extremely well equipped, it overlooks Abbadia Lariana and Mandello del Lario. Amazing 180° view on the lake, beaches are reachable in 5 minutes driving.
Close to the woods, it's a starting point to various hiking trails of all levels: Chengen waterfall, Sentiero del Viandante, Piani dei Resinelli, Manavello mountain, Rosalba lodge, Grignetta...

The space
The house, free on three sides, has a large floor area of about 100 square meters, is bright and well exposed but retains a pleasant coolness in summer. Located on the second floor (to enter you have to go up a staircase), it consists of an entrance and corridor that lead to a spacious living room embellished with a lovely terrace, to a kitchen / dining room, a bedroom with a double bed on a mezzanine that can also be used as a study / office, a fascinating bedroom with double bed, a main bathroom with bathtub and a secondary bathroom with shower. All the rooms except the bathrooms have large windows overlooking the lake and the mountains. The offer is completed by a small outdoor garden where it's possible to sunbathe enjoying the fantastic view or use the barbecue.
Guest access
The entire house is available to guests, with the exception of a small room that I use as a deposit for my personal belongings. I specify that I will not need to access it so you will enjoy total privacy.
Other things to note
The area is quite far from the railway station and poorly connected by public transport, there's a bus service but is not very convenient. Mandello Del Lario railway station is 20/30 min. far walking and 5 min. driving. Therefore I recommend to come by car or to rent one once here, unless you enjoy long walking uphill.
The tourist tax, equivalent to 1 euro per person per day, for a maximum of 7 days will be paid on site (even if the stay is longer than 7 nights).
