Positive: The host was exceptional and we will be ever grateful that she stayed up to greet us even though we were very late. The location is beautiful and very restful. The local medieval town of Barga is a short distance away and well worth visiting

Negative: The drive between the main road and the property takes around 15 minutes on challenging hillside minor roads.

Summary: Lovely peaceful place off the beaten track.
