Positive: Very nice view, in the middle of the Lungolago from Ascona.

Negative: The apartment is at the last floor, there is no elevator and it’s difficult to reach for a certain category of guests- it was unfortunately my mother’s case. The window of the bathroom is towards the lobby of the building, which is extremely stinky. When one goes out of the apartment is literally disgusted about the heavy smell- not sure what that is. There is no mosquitos net at the windows, although the location is just two steps away from the lake. In the kitchen found some insect that hided under the fridge- couldn’t identify them. In the morning was everything extremely loud at the piazza- since there are some restaurants long the lake area that I suppose received some deliveries and talked out loud shortly before 7 o’clock. There is no air conditioner, so it might be in the summertime extremely hot- it was not our case, we had nice weather, but it was not hot. Would also add a kind suggestion for your future guests: try to be friendlier on the phone. We found the key of the apartment but we where confused about where the apartment is, so I called at the location to ask some extra information. The lady that answered, instead of helping, that it’s written in the description on the Booking- quite unfriendly to be honest. Taking oneself time to explain where the apartment is takes maybe one minute, we spoke Italian, there’s no difficulty if there’s the will to comunicate. Quite bitter and hopefully would improve your manners with your future guests. We are often in Ascona, but won’t book the apartment again.
