Positive: Beautiful old property situated high up on the mountain side by lake Como, a bit of a trek to get up to but 100% worth it for the views. Also slightly cooler as you’re so high up! The room and facilities were nice and clean, comfortable bed and spotless bathroom. The rooftop terrace was lovely place to spend the evening, and the breakfast had a great selection of continental options. Our host was friendly and informative, they gave us a tour and explained the interesting history of the hotel. 100% reccomended.

Negative: My only complaint would be the lack of a fridge! It’s nice to have somewhere to put cold drinks/snacks as in summer it’s quite hot, but they did have cold drinks available to purchase at reception.

Summary: Beautiful location & clean facilities.
