Our agricultural tourism farm is located just 10 km (6.2 miles) outside the historical center of Florence. Made from a renovated 14thcentury farmhouse, it is equipped with all of the comforts of the present day while also maintaining the typical characteristics of the period.
The two 14 square-metre rooms are furnished with period furniture and are fitted with one bathroom for only this two rooms with a shower cabin.
The guesthouse is a recent renovation of a 17th century farmhouse.
The guesthouse, located in a position from which you can admire the beauty of the Tuscan hills, is adjoined to the manor house and sits only 10km from the centre of Florence.
The property is surrounded by a 12-acre (5 hectare) farm, cultivated with olive groves, which produce organic extra virgin olive oil, and a small vineyard which produces an organic, sulfate-free red wine.
Next to the farm one finds the main villa, which contains an ancient cellar with a vintage oil mill and a small private chapel from 1870. Upon reservation, the owners, Eugenio and Pietro, will prepare a typical Tuscan dinner that you can enjoy on the patio. The dinner includes an appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, dessert, and wine, and allows you to taste products from the farm itself (oil, wine, etcetera).
We also offer organized cooking lessons (with a minimum of 4 participants) in which you can see how Tuscan specialties are prepared, learn the art of homemade pasta, and get in on all the secrets of our cuisine. After the cooking lesson, you’re able to enjoy the meal that you prepared.
At the end of the main road, about 200 m from the farm, you’ll find a bus stop that runs at scheduled times. The bus will take you directly to the center of Florence in around 30 minutes. Renting a car is also recommended as you’re able to park in the private lot on the farm. This way you have the flexibility to travel to all of the beautiful surrounding cities, such as Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, and outlets like “The Mall” which is only a 15-minute drive from our farm.
Don’t miss the “Panchina su Firenze”, which can be reached by a 5-minute walk through our property for a panoramic view of Florence from the Tuscan hills.
