The ruin Wartenstein with fireplace can be reached in three minutes. Starting point for walks to the Porta Romana, Tamina Gorge, Tamina Therme Bad Ragaz, Pizolbahn or swimming on Lake Walen (25km). Or you can just relax in our wonderful hot pot. Wait for the farm cats and calves to be stroked. The cows are in the summer on the alp. In spring and autumn the house can be heated with wood. In our farm shop you can buy wines from our own production, spirits, alp cheese, confis and dried meat. In the village, one kilometer away is the recently completed, longest arch bridge in Switzerland, the Taminabrücke. It now connects the two villages Pfäfers and Valens.
