Within walking distance many shopping opportunities: the "fashion district" with the elegant via Montenapoleone, the luxury megastore La Rinascente, the many shops in via Torino and via Dante. And in the evening a wide choice of pubs for an “aperitivo” and restaurants offering local food, international and ethnic cuisine in the lively neighbourhoods of Porta Romana, the Columns of San Lorenzo and the Navigli. Well served by public transport (metro M3 at 200m); several supermarkets just around the corner.
The apartment is inside an ancient noble palace that takes its name from the Majnoni family, who bought it at the end of the XVIII century and that made it a rare model of elegant sobriety, thanks to major building interventions. During the last restoration carried out in the last century by the architect Caccia Dominioni, precious mosaics (closed to visitors) from different eras were discovered in the basement, the oldest of which dates back to the 1st century BC, considered among the most important of the ancient Mediolanum.
