Positive: The location is amazing, a few minutes walk to the ferry stop and bus stop. There’s an amazing local restaurant literally next door where we had a wonderful meal (Riviera), and another great place a few more meters down the road (Ristobar Company). The view is incredible and this is what you pay for. I was worried having read other reviews about privacy but rest assured, blinds have been put up. They allowed us to store our suitcases at the office - note this was a 1 hour bus journey from Griante to Como, but we used the opportunity to explore Como.

Negative: One of our guests didn’t have towels (it was an oversight). It is VERY basic in regards to ‘extras’. Most self catering places these days have sugar, salt and pepper, this place has nothing, no basics so we had to buy everything for just a few days stay. It was clean but we had to pull back the bedside tables to get to the plug socket and noticed it wasn’t very clean everywhere. The main lights in one of the bedrooms don’t work. We struggled to get into the gate after the first day so had to go through the garage.

Summary: Great location, the view is the best thing about the property
