The Space: The property is set on the first floor. There is a wonderful open plan living, dining and kitchen area with sleek white kitchen units and white dining table contrasting with blue sofa. There are also white 'tub' armchairs and white units. This room is a lovely space, almost with a 'New England' feel. For those staying in the Winter months, there is a wood burning stove ensuring a lovely cosy space whatever the time of year. Doors lead to a terrace area furnished with two comfortable chairs and coffee table. This enjoys the most spectacular views over Lake Maggiore. There is a master bedroom which is a lovely room with comfortable bed and lake views, as well as a smaller bedroom. This has 2 single beds. Finally, there is a modern bathroom with white sanitary ware and beige mosaic tiles. This has a bath tub with overhead shower, bidet, washbasin and toilet. There is a BBQ area that guests are welcome to use. This is located on a raised terrace area to the side of the property. There are a number of fantastic walks / hikes to be enjoyed leading straight from the property. If you prefer to laze on the beach, then the lakeside is just a 5 minute drive away. It's a good base from which to explore some of the main lakeside towns such as Stresa, Pallanza and Arona as well as the Borromean Islands. In the Winter, you can ski nearby on the mountains above Stresa - Mottarone. Getting Around: A car is necessary.
