Summary: The apartment was clean, comfortable, and centrally located. However, my stay was made stressful by confusing instructions and weak support. • Address: Milan Retreats manages many properties, and searching online easily leads to the wrong location. The correct address was only in the voucher. If the Hotels.com listing address differs from the actual apartment, it is crucial that this be highlighted clearly as an important note before arrival. Because of this, we ended up dragging heavy luggage across cobblestone streets for 30 minutes before finally reaching the correct location — exhausting after travel. • Support channels: In the evening, WhatsApp is not monitored and guests are expected to call via carrier. As an overseas tourist, I purchased internet data (not international calling plans), so relying on carrier calls felt unreasonable. Having different channels (WhatsApp by day, calls by night) makes communication confusing for travelers. • Hot water issue: I had difficulties with the heater and couldn’t get timely assistance despite multiple attempts. Support only came the next morning, too late to resolve the problem during my stay. • Service tone: The replies I did receive came across as defensive rather than empathetic.
