It is also strategically located 10 km from Como, 20 km from Bellagio, 15 km from Pian del Tivano, 12 km from the LA COLMA astronomical observatory and 25/30 km from Ghisallo where there is the Bicycle Museum.
From Molina, for those who love walking or cycling, there are various walks of medium difficulty; going up to Capanna Mara you can cross the walk between the mountains called "Dorsale del Triangolo Lariano" that starts from Como-Brunate and arrives at Bellagio, going up to Monte Palanzone you arrive at Rifugio Riella from where, on particularly clear days, you can see all the lakes of Brianza.
In the village of Molina stands the church of Santa Margherita with its ancient Romanesque bell tower. Of particular interest in the village of Palanzo is the ancient wine press dating back to 1572, which is considered a national monument.
Possible excursions by boat or hydrofoil from the port of Torno (3 km.) to Como, Bellagio, Isola Comacina or interesting cruises on the lake admiring the splendid villas.
In Riva (2 km.), which can also be reached on foot (about 20 minutes), there is an equipped Lido with beach.
To reach Molina, even if it is served by a bus, personal transport is recommended.
In the village there are all the services offered by the area: a free municipal car park which is about 200 metres from the house, a small food shop, a bar with pastry shop, tobacconist and newsagent. On Thursdays there is a small market in the square. We have three restaurants and a pizzeria that can satisfy every need.
