Cosy detached house from the beginning of XX century, spread on three levels and completely renovated, in the heart of Catania.
This house, completely renovated and tastefully furnished, spreads over three levels. The ground floor houses the living area enriched by stone walls and details, and it comes with a dining area, a comfortable sofa, a TV and a fireplace. The eat-in kitchen with an island is well-equipped and has everything needed to prepare meals, including an oven and a dishwasher. From here there is access to a furnished garden with an outdoor dining area. A small bathroom and a playroom complete the floor.
The upper level is dedicated to the sleeping area, coming with two bedrooms with queen size beds and private bathrooms with shower. The third room features two single beds that can be joined together, also with a private bathroom yet smaller and without shower.
On the top floor, that can be reached thanks to an external staircase, there is a large terrace, completely furnished, perfect for spending pleasant moments in the open air. A bathroom with shower completes the floor.
At guests’ disposal there are also free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating.

Its architectural wonders, as well as the colourful street markets, the wild beauty of the Mount Etna and the crystal-clear sea of the coasts will literally seduce you. Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are really worth a visit. And obviously, it is impossible not to mention Catania’s culinary tradition, with its typical arancini (fried rice balls), the iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), olivette of Sant’Agata (typical sweets made of almond paste and coloured in green) and the famous brioches with granita. For horse meat lovers, Via del Plebiscito with its typical street embers is really not to be missed. You can already smell the delicious aroma even from a long way off! An unmissable stop-over just outside the city is the coast, and more specifically the beautiful Gulf of Acitrezza, where in 1881 Giovanni Verga set his best known novel, “I Malavoglia”.
The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about a 20-minute drive from the apartment, while Catania Central station is 10 minutes away.
