Summary: I loved my stay at Porta Alla Croce Guest House! Sergio and his wife were so incredibly kind and accommodating, even when my travel and check-in was delayed and it took me longer than expected to arrive on my first night. Sergio took the time to point out all of the major tourism points of interest to me on a map when I checked in, and even gave me some recommendations for food and other activities in the area (which I happily took, and they were great!). The guest house is in a walkable and convenient location; I was able to travel around Florence on foot and using the buses with no problem from the guest house. My room was perfect for my needs, and everything was clean and well taken care of.
