Positive: Absolutely Wonderful Stay at Gebel House – True Sicilian Hospitality! Our stay at Gebel House in Linguaglossa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Angela and Salvo, two of the most kind-hearted and attentive hosts we’ve ever encountered. The property itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and offered a peaceful retreat in the heart of Sicily. A truly special touch was the welcome basket with delicious Sicilian delis – a gesture that immediately made us feel at home. Every detail in the accommodation reflected care and attention, making our stay both comfortable and memorable. What truly sets this experience apart, however, was the extraordinary support Angela and Salvo offered during a stressful situation. When our rental vehicle broke down on a Sunday – with the rental company being of no real help – Angela and Salvo went out of their way to assist us. They stepped in without hesitation, helping us resolve the issue with genuine concern and practical assistance. Their help was not just generous; it was absolutely above and beyond anything we expected. Angela and Salvo are great hosts – thoughtful, reliable, and incredibly welcoming. We left feeling more like family than guests. We will most certainly return, and next time we’ll look forward to staying at another one of the Neri properties.
